I recently brought my truck into Tri State for routine service and a state inspection, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff was professional, knowledgeable, and upfront about the process and timeline. They took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure my truck was thoroughly checked and serviced. The inspection was handled efficiently, and they even pointed out a few minor issues I hadn’t noticed—nothing pushy, just helpful and honest. I left with my truck running smoothly and complete peace of mind. The shop is clean, well-organized, and clearly run by people who care about quality work. Highly recommend Tri State to any truck owner looking for reliable, no-nonsense service and trustworthy inspections. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Sent a truck over for inspection 3 times, they charged all three times $45. The two times the truck went over they charged me to tell me my lights were out so it didn’t pass. Not once in the two visits did they give a NYS DMV Inspection Report. Only on the third visit when the truck finally passed I received the inspection report and on the inspection report it said initial inspection. When I called to complain they lied about the inspections being performed. This place is a scam. Don’t know how they’re still in business. There’s a reason this business is rated a 3.4

Competent mechanic shop got my 2001 classic xl running the best it has since I got it, although not as fast as I'd like but great work, wish would communicate a estimate before starting repairs but they definitely do great work to get you up and 🏃‍♂️ 🏃‍♀️. To tha bank 😄 nah but 4real tho I recommend them,check'em out they good but busy shop..tell Joey that Michael sent you.

Called with an emergency at the Barclay Center docks, and they sent a tech out right away. They were there in less than 30 minutes. Very professional and courteous and got the job done fast. Highly recommend!

This is a great place to have work done at!! The negative reviews are absolutely wrong and unfair. The people are very nice, fair, friendly, knowledgeable, and the mechanics are great and go above and beyond. I would highly recommend this place. I broke down and got towed here. They had a place waiting for me to park me when I arrived. They went above and beyond to diagnose the problem right away, order parts, and got them very fast and fixed my equipment as fast and as well as humanly possible. They are fair and reasonable on pricing and will give you an accurate estimate up front. Yes, it's on a small New York street, but what business isn't in New York. They make the best of what they have and do their absolute best to accommodate anyone who needs work done. Again, don't trust the negative reviews made by dishonest people. I highly recommend this place!!
